human design 1/4 profile. The human design profile series. Today we will be talking about the 1-4 profile in human design. That is the conscious 1 on the black side of your chart in the top two icons (sun and earth) and the 4 line in your subconscious or red side of the chart in the top of icons (sun and earth).

Line 1 - investigator
line 4- opportunist
The 1/4 profile tends to view the world more externally than from their own inner voice.
The line 1 is about simplicity, drilling down to the foundation of things, investigating, researching to find out. It needs a solid foundation and freaks out when the rug is pulled out from under them. Line 1 can be insecure with other ppl.This means your line 1 of investigating is more consciously what people see when they first meet you and the line 4 of having opportunity through a network of friends, family and co-workers is more unconscious to others or even yourself if you feel out of touch with that part of you.
You are balancing time researching with listening and understanding the needs of their community to be able to then use their alone time to create change and influence to the lives around them. By having that time to gain the knowledge and then share it with their network that is often how they will get their success.
How do you balance that?
I think its essential we break down the two lines first:
The 4th line
is all about relationships. Your relationships and networks are everything and it is a lifeline journey of trying to figure out what a relationship that is of value to you truly means. You do care so much about your relationships and this also means that you do nt make changes easily. Having a foundation of friendship can be key for this profile.
In its highest expression you are able to share in your relationship and know who your network is and use it to your advantage. In the lowest expression you feel you can not use your voice and do not feel confident in your network.
The 1st line:
You have a very curious nature and mind. You need a foundation of knowledge for you to feel safe and comfortable in the world around you. In the highest of this expression you are ale to have knowledge and feel deeply informed and in its lowest expressed you feel so overwhelmed by the things you do not know and you begin to even question all the knowledge you have already gained.
Is is essential for you to find a good foundation in which you feel will benefit you to the point where you are able to network and shape the people and environment around you.
This is only in alignment when its the right people and the right place. It should feel natural to you and those are the people you are often going to to influence, network with and to pitch things to.
A great way to think about this profile is while the 1/3 is here to build foundations and then try things and find ways to correct or improve them the 1/4 is very stead in what it is trying to sell to another person. They do not dismiss what it is they are selling just because someone might not want it. They are not trying to prove upon it.
I will say for most people with this profile that have authority should pay close attention to making sure they are following that along with first following strategy.
If you are doing one thing hold onto the others and lean on the foundations you have. If you feel you do not have much foundation to lean on this is a great way to start to tap into that 4th line.
