Numerical Solution of Ordinary Differential Equations:
In this lecture the following methods of Numerical Solution of Ordinary Differential are discussed:
1. Taylor’s Series Method:
Taylor’s Series Method to solve an Ordinary Differential of first order with initial condition is explained and a problem is solved to illustrate the method.
2. Picard’s Method of Successive Approximation:
This method is explained and a formula for nth approximation is derived. A problem is solved to illustrate the method.
