Wobbler's Symphonic Journey: Every Album In The Collection!
In this video I look at the albums of Wobbler, a symphonic, progressive rock band from the not so sunny climes of Hønefoss in Norway in early 1999.
Wobbler feel very retro, but I love that. They ooze of the prog I grew up with, utilizing the essence of Genesis, Gentle Giant, Yes and even a touch of Jethro Tull.
I make no apologies for my excitement, but I just got an album that has been missing from my Wobbler collection because it had been out of stock for ages. The album was 'From Silence To Somewhere’ and it’s been my favorite for many years. Not far behind that is their latest release, Dwellers Of The Deep’ which is another great album from the band.
To be honest, I love all the albums, but 'From Silence To Somewhere’ has captured me. I love the title track. If you listen on headphones and dedicate the time to just listening, it to my ears is a bit of a masterpiece… but I do say that about many of their songs..
