Persistent and Portable Kali Linux Live USB (Part: 2/3)
This video is the second part of the series on creating an encrypted portable Kali Linux USB with persistence. This video demonstrates the second stage i.e. method to enable persistence on existing Kali Linux Live USB
in the following steps:
03:59 Boot from Kali USB
05:23 Select “Live System with USB persistence”
07:59 Check USB drive path
08:32 Create new Partition in free space
10:42 Make Linux file system on new partition
11:27 Mount the partition and create ‘persistence.conf’ file on new partition
with "/ union" as content in that file
13:23 Unmount the new partition and reboot PC
Upon Reboot, you can create a new file and check whether the file exist even after reboots i.e. the new data is persistent across reboots.
