The pace of our lives only seems to increase each day, and the idea of committing oneself to any one person, place, or thing for a long stretch of time doesn't seem to be a priority in the same way it once may have been. We are distracted, busy, lost. I have always been one to try to live life deliberately, to enjoy and consciously appreciate the little things. This song, then, is not from my own perspective, but rather describes how I hope I will one day make someone feel.
This was recorded on February 2nd, before the snowstorm, believe it or not. False Spring at her finest ;) Thank you to the birds for their beautiful chirping harmonies.
