Revealing stories: theatres of Brunswick and Coburg

Janine Barrand is a Melbourne based cultural historian and senior curator specialising in the performing arts and popular culture. She is the former Director of the Australian Performing Arts Collection, Arts Centre Melbourne, and is currently a Board Director of Her Place Women’s Museum.
Dianna Wells is a Melbourne based artist, photographer and designer with a focus on landscape, conservation and cultural heritage. Her artwork commissioned for Metro Tunnel, ‘Walking within a grassy woodland’, has recently been installed at the Anzac Station Tram Stop Kiosk on St Kilda Road.
Revealing Stories received a Commendation in the 2022 Victorian Community History Awards. In 2023 Janine and Dianna will embark on Revealing Stories: the hidden history of the performing arts scene in Geelong.
