This is the first single from my new album Route to Rebirth, which was released on 21.02.24. I'm so excited to finally share this project with you all!
'Into the Forest' was inspired by being out in nature, and rekindling the sense of connection and wonder that we experience as a kid. Whenever I feel isolated and not in control, nature gently reminds me the art of letting go.
We are nature, intertwined with everything around us. Nature embraces change effortlessly and the cycle of renewal continues. Trying to achieve a state of perfection and control is an illusion of the mind that we will never meet.
Perfection is not innate, it's created by culture.
It teaches you that you that you're not enough, and that you must portray yourself a certain way to fit the same mould as everybody else. Yet it's so far from the truth... Stop, breathe, and be as your wonderfully unique, imperfect self. ❤️ xx
