Kayaking in Killisnoo Harbor Alaska
Flights and fishing were delayed two days, but we were able to pass one of the afternoons by kayaking Killisnoo Harbor. We watched a sea lion feast on salmon and just enjoyed the perfect afternoon after spending 18hrs at the Ward Air hangar over two days. We also watched the Whalers Cove fishing fleet return from a 7hr roundtrip to Juneau after dropping off guests that had been stranded at the lodge while we were stranded in Juneau. The clouds lifted as those guests arrived in Juneau, so we were able to fly out to Whalers Cove but had no boats on which to go fishing after our arrival. Major bummer.
