Poppy destruction drive held at Konibal Pampore.
Tehsil administration Pampore along with Pampore Police starts its drive against contraband cultivation to root out the menace of drugs. A team from revenue and police departments lead by Tehsildar Pampore Malik Asif Ahmad and SDPO Pampore Shri Krishan Rattan destroyed poppy cultivation at several places of Konibal Pampore. Pampore police registered two fir's 37/2024 and 38/2024 under relevant sections of law against the cultivators. Pampore police said this process will continue and poppy cultivators are warned to destroy the poppy immediately otherwise legal action will be initiated against them.
