Bright Beginnings 2024
📓 At the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, we help kids succeed. We recently hosted our annual Bright Beginnings program in several Peninsula communities. With the support of our donors and in partnership with local organizations and businesses, we sponsored back-to-school shopping days for over 700 kids who would otherwise not be afforded the opportunity to return to school with the supplies and clothes they need. Since the program's inception, over 18,000 kids in our local communities have taken part in this program to start their school year off right.
📏 We want to give a huge thank you to the volunteers, partners, and donors who graciously poured their time and resources into these kids. We would not be able to continue growing our impact every year without you. Here's to many more years of positive change and impact in our communities.
