The Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc. (ABC) and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) offers this complimentary seminar examining disparities in care of hypertension and heart failure.

Moderated by Dr. Nisha Jhalani, the program features presentations from Drs. D. Edmund Anstey and Sabra C. Lewsey. The seminar explores:
• Inequities that lead to poor health outcomes
• Innovative solutions for expanding access to hypertension and heart failure treatments
• Improving outcomes in underserved populations

This program is part of a joint initiative called A New Beat which advocates for women and minorities rising as leaders in cardiology. It aims to foster careers of female and minority cardiologists, who can be poised to improve access to quality care for underserved populations.
