The Last of Us Part 1: Re-Review | Worth it now? [ 2025 ]
The Last of Us Part 1 isn't just an increase in resolution and frame rate over the previous versions, it's proper remake. It completely overhauls the visuals and retrofits gameplay mechanics from the second game, making Part 1 and Part 2 feel cohesive.
If you've played either (or both) of the earlier versions then you might be wondering if there's any point to this remake. As someone who've played both multiples times, as well as watched the TV show multiple times, I wondered the same thing. After finishing both the campaign and the Left Behind expansion, I can confidently say that this is 100% worth your time.
There's not shortage of PS5 remastered games but The Last of Us Part 1 stand outs.
It's an excellent remake that takes an already incredible game and makes it feel new!
