Frost Blaster:
The Frost Blaster tower was a special unlockable feature in the Christmas 2019 Event, obtainable by conquering the Village of Despair. Players could also access this tower through a limited-time gamepass priced at 350 Robux during the Christmas 2019 Event or for 600 Robux as part of the Krampus' Revenge Event.
In comparison to other towers, the Frost Blaster's single target DPS is below average due to its low initial damage, which increases as it reaches higher levels. It also has a rather high firerate. But when it hits an enemy, the piercing darts it launches freeze them. An adversary that has been thawed is subject to chillness, which causes it to slow down for a short while.
The Frost Blaster cannot freeze, slow down, or cause an enemy with freeze immunity to lose its protection. Bigger opponents are also locked for a shorter period of time. Additionally, enemies that are ignited from towers, like the Pyromancer, cannot be frozen. If you light an opponent that is frozen, it will melt. Because Frost Blaster has a higher DPS than Freezer, it might be considered an offensive support hybrid.
Sledger:
A melee ground tower known as the Sledger was previously made available during the Frost Invasion Event to Outpost 32 winners. The Sledger was available for purchase with a limited-time gamepass for 500 Robux during the Frost Invasion Event. It was most recently offered as a short-lived Robux 600 gamepass for the Krampus' Revenge Event.
The Sledger uses its hammer to strike its adversaries. An 80% stacking chillness slowness effect is applied as a result. When the slowness exceeds the maximum slowness at Level 3+, the adversary will be frozen instead. Larger adversaries freeze for a shorter period of time than medium sized enemies, whereas creatures immune to freeze cannot be frozen or slowed down. It is also impossible to freeze enemies that are ablaze from a tower, such as the Pyromancer.
If you light an opponent that is frozen, it will melt. When an enemy is frozen or chilled—whether from the Sledger or another tower that carries these effects—it does double damage to them at Level 4+ (like the Freezer). It also acquires the capacity to hit two adversaries with a single swing at Level 1, and this ability grows with upgrades. Level 2 lead penetration is likewise achieved by the Sledger, despite the lack of flying or hidden detection.
There is a six placement limit for the Sledger per player.
