"Mr Blue" -- Doctor Who
After the Doctor and Rose separate, the Doctor is very unhappy. Martha tries to put him back together, but eventually leaves him to move on with her life. The Doctor then begins travelling with Donna, who also tries to make him happy. Finally, he reunites with Rose. He and his companions save the universe, but then he realises he has to let Rose go. He loses Donna, too, and then he is back in the TARDIS, completely alone.
