La tradizione orale consiste nel trasmettere la conoscenza culturale, le storie e la storia attraverso la parola parlata attraverso le generazioni. Nell'antichità questa era un mezzo cruciale per preservare l'identità e i valori di una società prima dell'uso diffuso della lingua scritta.
