One of the key challenges when recording the human voice, and when live streaming or podcasting, can be allowing the talent to express themselves freely whilst keeping them firmly on the microphone. Post processing can be difficult to deal with if someone is constantly changing their position on the microphone. Wouldn't it be great if we could have a microphone which had the equivalent of a modern camera's autofocus?
