Resident Evil Village is the 8th main installment in the successful, yet ups and downs-filled horror franchise "Resident Evil" and continues the story of Ethan and Mia Winters from Resident Evil VII Biohazard. Several years have passed since the events in the Bakers' house; Ethan and Mia have emigrated to Romania and are raising their young daughter, Rosemary. But one day, Chris Redfield destroys the family idyll, shoots Mia, and kidnaps Ethan and Rose. But something goes wrong during transport: the truck crashes, Rose is gone, and Ethan finds himself in a village where mysterious things are also happening. RE8 is the first to feature supernatural legends like vampires and werewolves and promises unprecedented survival horror with the best possible graphics for cross-gen thanks to the RE Engine. Since Resi Village incorporates elements from RE7 and RE4, it's a bit more action-packed than its predecessor, but aims to satisfy all fans equally with its diverse locations and gameplay.
