The Yashica Mat 124 G is the latest model in a long line of square, twin-lens reflex (TLR) cameras produced by the Japanese company Yashica since the 1950s. This type of camera is known as a TLR, for Twin Lens Reflex. The Yashica Mat 124 G is entirely mechanical with manual settings and a coupled light meter for independent exposure adjustment. It produces 6x6 square negatives on 120 film, not 120mm!
