My son has been getting into something called Black MIDI, which I had never heard about until recently. If you're not familiar, here is the wiki definition:
"Black MIDI is a music genre consisting of compositions that use MIDI files to create a song or a remix containing a large number of notes. People who make black MIDIs are known as blackers. However, there are no specific criteria of what is considered "black"; as a result, pinpointing the exact origin of black MIDI is impossible."
I decided to load one of my original compositions into the Kiva Midi Player which he has been using to make YouTube videos with (under the channel name 'midicraft'). I wouldn't say it really qualifies as Black Midi, but I'd be interested to learn exactly how those are made.
