Machine Learning Test in Unity - Object Avoidance
A short test of a small ML-controlled boat I did some time ago.
Video is running at x6 speed because otherwise, it is unbearably slow.
The boat could accelerate to 72km/s, but the AI figured out that going slow would increase its chances of survival. Nevertheless, it still randomly crashed into rocks and failed.
This wasn't my first test, but it was the first one I had done in a while (and also the first one I had bothered to record), and the one I had trained for the longest time (back then I had a very weak GPU, so it took a significant amount of time to iterate the model).
