It was a phone call that would change the course of his life. Arturo Orellana was set to start practicing law in Madrid when his uncle, who lives in Winnipeg, asked him to come for a visit before he settled in to his career. The city instantly drew him in with its multiculturalism, thriving arts scene, and entrepreneurial opportunities. After that, he no longer wanted to be a lawyer in Madrid.
