RAW VOCAL PROCESSING prepare vocals for the mix
don't remove too much, don't overdo big EQ dips. target your problem areas, slightly touch problematic areas (250hz / 600-700hz / 10khz) remove background noise & piercing frequencies and leave the rest to the mixing phase.
