Text:
I had lost my way in the high mountains.
The rocky world around me was indeed beautiful;
but I could find no way out, nor any ascent to the bright heights.
Then I met you, in my direst need: the other!
United with you, I gained fresh courage.
Anew I began to hike with you,
and behold: Fate was kind to us.
We found a path, clear and solitary,
stretching upwards, until a temple stood.
The climb was steep, but together we dared it...
And even today we help each other, hand in hand.
... Perhaps we stand at the end of our lives
still below the goal, - enough, the path is clear!
That we met was the great turning point,
From two lost souls a knowing pair emerged.
