For 15 years, Dabu Bucher and DJ Arts have been performing with their band Dabu Fantastic. The childhood friends are a well-oiled machine, and the band dynamic has long since taken on a familial feel. But on the road to their latest album, "Ciao Baby, Ciao," everything suddenly changes.

"There were times when I thought this band was going to break up," recalls frontman Dabu Bucher in Ivo Amarilli's documentary. The filmmaker closely followed Bucher, the band, and the process leading up to the album "Ciao Baby, Ciao." This resulted in insights into the life of a Swiss band that have likely never been seen before.

The filmmaker closely followed Bucher, the band, and the process of creating the album "Ciao Baby, Ciao." The film offers a glimpse into the life of a Swiss band that has probably never been seen before.
... Bucher falls in love, breaks free from his existing life, and moves to Bern to be with his new love. This significantly influences the process and focus of his planned album and unsettles those around him. The first demos, delivered at the last minute, initially meet with little enthusiasm from his label and management.
