Description
In this video, we focus on adding railings to the balcony and doors to the building using the Archipack add-on. This parametric modeling tool in Blender allows for quick addition and modification of objects such as railings and doors.
We start by selecting the house model and setting an insertion point for the railing around the balcony. We then use the Fence option in the Create tab of the Archipack add-on to add a metal glass fence to the scene. We adjust the length of the railing to fit the front wall of the balcony and duplicate it to cover the other sides.
Next, we add the front door and the garage door to the building. We select the house model, set the insertion point, and use the Door option in the Create tab of the Archipack add-on to add the doors. We adjust the dimensions of the doors to fit the openings in our building.
Finally, we make adjustments to the house model to accommodate the doors. We add edge loops and delete faces to create openings for the doors. We also move the doors back a little so they don't sit too proud of the wall.
