She Grabs The Wrong Remote For The Presentation | WLW Movie Recap
A college professor, Kylie , is secretly remote-controlled. She uses the remote, but then she puts the remote down. After all, Aubry - a student who is also a teaching assistant - will be arriving any minute now. Aubry then comes into the room to do a dry run of a lecture that Kylie will be giving. The lecture includes a slideshow, so Aubry's job will be to change the slides while Kylie speaks. But Aubry grabs the remote for Kylie's, thinking it's the projector remote.
Welcome to Maisie Quinn, where we dive into the world of queer and lesbian cinema with thoughtful, safe-for-work recaps and analysis. In today’s video, we’re exploring the intense story of Carla and Stephanie — a drama of heartbreak, trust, and desire. Stephanie confides in Carla about a forbidden crush, only to find her emotions manipulated in ways that blur the line between comfort and control. This recap not only breaks down the film’s plot but also connects it to LGBTQ+ culture, lesbian representation, and the history of queer storytelling.
We believe lesbian stories matter — whether they’re romantic, messy, or complicated — because they show the real complexity of love and longing in the LGBTQ+ community.
