I've not done anything special with my site to get it indexed. The only changes I have made are to remove the wordpress post revision from the archives. Everything else is exactly the same. In essence, I posted a new article and it wasn't indexed for almost 48 hours. After checking my site's source code, I discovered a whole section of code referencing HTTPS.
The latest Google Search Console update has created some problems for many webmasters, including myself. I was expecting an increase in search visibility, but instead I'm facing decreased visibility in Google Search Console. I did make a few manual submissions to GSC, but they didn't change anything.
Although there are no Google indexing errors in the console, all my new content is marked "not indexed." The good news is that the cause of this problem is not yet known to the general public, and it could very well be something temporary or specific to my site (which seems unlikely).
