In Outward, there is a variety of options in terms of what build to go for. The Hex Mage skill tree is a versatile pick for a variety of builds. It buffs up elemental damage and provides a way to deal with corruption. It also provides a way to deal with burnt stats.
I forgot to include the blood leech skill combination, so here it is:
Casting blood sigil and then using dagger slash, which is a universal skill that is already learned at the start of the game, results in blood leech, which inflicts the blood leech victim effect on the target and gives the player the blood leech effect. The target with the blood leech victim effect loses a percentage of their maximum health per second, and the player with the blood leech effect regenerates this health. It increases the player’s corruption by 3%
