Cutty & Cole are an emerging rap duo from Calgary, featuring rapper Halfcut and producer Cole Young (aka Cole the God). Blending their individual strengths, they craft raw, introspec- tive, and hard-hitting music with gritty beats, sharp lyricism, and intricate production.
Cole Young, a Nêhiyaw/Canadian producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist, has toured and recorded with the experimental metal band Trench, the hardcore band Grave Maker, and the duo Suicide Kings. With over a decade of experience, he's worked with artists like M.O.P., Apathy, and Tech N9ne, recognized for his sample-heavy, drum-focused production.
Halfcut combines the classic boom-bap style of rap's golden era with intelligent lyrics and a raw, hard-hitting flow. With influence from Nas, 2Pac, and Mobb Deep, his bars address real-life struggles and the pursuit of success. Having shared stages with Talib Kweli, Pusha T, and Nas, his distinct voice has earned a growing international following.
Together, Cutty & Cole merge their talents to create a sound that is unapologetically authentic. Their upcoming album, "The Relentless Two," drops this year, keep an eye out for Cutty & Cole on tour this summer.
