riffing on the theme of C.R.E.M.E
this started as my attempt to make something with #d2ms that felt hip hop inspired , then it kinda went its own way.
kick drum is triggering bass notes
snare has an organ sample but only on hard hits
hi tom triggers a piano sequence of 16 notes
floor tom triggers a two note guitar riff with an under lying drone note and pad that changes on each hit.
the whole.piece was built using the norns script d2ms (drums to midi stuff) a custom drumming script for the monome Norn's environment.
