Climbing Humphrey's Peak for the First Time 2020
Living in AZ my whole life, I've had this hike on my list for years. Last year I checked off Flat Iron in the Superstition Mountains, which was 7.8 miles with 1,800 feet of elevation, by far the hardest hike of my life. Humphrey's ended up being 13 Miles and 3,300 feet of elevation. It was very tough for me, and my lack of preparation didn't help. But my positive mindset and determination ended up paying off making for one epic adventure.
