To prevent watermelon tincture from becoming watery, you need to know one secret that will make the taste richer.
Ingredients:
watermelon pulp - 600 g;
vodka (40-45% alcohol, moonshine) - 0.5 l;
sugar - 50-100 g (optional);
vanilla sugar - 10 g (optional).
Watermelon tincture recipe:
1. Cut the pulp into pieces and remove the seeds.
2. Grind the peeled pulp with a blender or fork until you get a homogeneous thick juice.
3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, bring to a boil and reduce the heat to a minimum.
4. Cook, stirring constantly, until 70% of the volume has evaporated.
5. Cool the syrup to room temperature, then pour into a container for infusion.
6. Add vanilla and vodka. Mix, add sugar if desired.
7. Seal the jar tightly, move to a dark, warm place for 10 days. Shake once every couple of days.
8. Filter the finished watermelon liqueur through a sieve or cheesecloth. Do not squeeze out the pulp, just let the liquid drain.
9. Pour the drink into a storage bottle and seal tightly. Leave in the refrigerator for a few days before tasting. Shelf life - up to 1 year. Strength - 32-35% vol.
