Call of Duty has a massive cheating problem, and after the Season 3 update, it’s officially reached a breaking point. In today’s video, we’re looking at the current state of Ricochet and why it feels like the Anti-Cheat team has completely lost control.
From the plague of Cronus Zen users on console to the blatant wallhacks and aimbots on PC, the "security" in this game feels like a suggestion rather than a barrier. I’m breaking down why the developers seem to have no confidence in their own systems, essentially forcing US—the players—to be the manual anti-cheat through the reporting system.
I’ve also included footage of cheaters I’ve personally caught in my lobbies and the "Action Taken" notifications to prove just how bad it’s gotten. Is Activision being proactive, or are they just waiting for us to do their jobs for them?
