I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! is a Reality TV series in which a number of celebrities live together in a jungle environment for a number of weeks, competing to be crowned "King" or "Queen of the Jungle".
Rapid Blue-South Africa offers a full service production base for the show in South Africa, near the town of Nelspruit. Visual Impact is the primary technical service provider of Broadcast systems including engineers, camera, fiber integration, audio and post production workflow.
Hungary’s version of the show had crew of over 180 people, shooting two seasons involving 34 live shows, consuming 78 000 litres of fuel, chewing up 288 Terabytes of footage, serving 20 000 cups of coffee and employing over 21 000 cockroaches is another thing altogether! But that’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and Rapid Blue did all that and more when it created and ran the South African hub for Hungary’s version of the show. All this so that viewers on the other side of the world could watch their stars banished to a jungle and forced to compete for food and other luxury items.
It is produced by ITV Studios and has been licensed globally to countries including the South Africa, United States, Germany, France, Hungary, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Romania, Australia and India.
