The FinTech education panel discussion at the conference Bulgaria on the European FinTech Map 2022.
prof. Daniela Bobeva: is currently a professor in Personal finance at VUZF University, Varna Economic university, and others. She is a former Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister. She has served in several cabinet level positions including Minister of Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as at the Foreign Investment Agency. She was Vice President in the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and served for a decade as the head of the international division of the Bulgarian National Bank.
Assoc. prof. Deyan Radev: is an Associate Professor of Fintech and Banking at FEBA at Sofia University and teaches courses in fintech and banking regulation. Dr. Radev has 15 years of experience at Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Bonn and the European Central Bank. He received Germany's best PhD dissertation prize in capital markets in 2014 for his work on systemic risk assessment. His systemic risk indicators are in daily operational use at the European Central Bank. Dr. Radev has published in the Journal of Banking and Finance and Springer Verlag, and his research on systemic risk, banking regulation and fintech has been presented at the ECB, Federal Reserve Board, Bank of England, Deutsche Bundesbank, Bank for International Settlements and others. Since December 2022, Dr. Radev is the Director of the CEE Center for Digital Finance.
Vasiliy Piatidis: is the Marketing specialist at Streamflow AD. He and his company are very active in the field of FinTech education and always contribute to the Association’s education initiatives. Vasily is genuinely interested in education is now a phd candidate at Sofia University.

Bulgaria on the European Map is a series of events when BFA releases the Annual FinTech Report which marks Bulgaria's role in the region of Southeast Europe (SEE). The Report covers topics such as Financial analysis of FinTech companies, FinTech Mapping, investments, regulations, education, etc.
