Practical Precast Concrete Course
Welcome to the Practical Precast Course!
In this course, you will learn how to create a complete precast structural design for a REAL construction project, covering 1,800 m² and totaling 6 floors (up to the top of the reservoir).
You will learn everything from modeling in the Eberick software to the manual calculation and detailing of special elements (corbel, Gerber teeth, collar) and verification of the transitional stages of beams and columns (lifting and formwork removal).
You will also receive the complete structural design to download and use as a model for your future precast structural projects.
We will use the standard version of Eberick software (for cast-in-place reinforced concrete), and we will make the necessary adaptations and verifications to develop the precast structural design.
Important note: you don't need an Eberick license to take this course. You can download the free demo version from the AltoQi website, as all course modules are saved step-by-step and the Eberick files are shared for you to use during the lessons.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of Mechanics/Structural Theory, Strength of Materials, and Reinforced Concrete Structures.
Basic knowledge of CAD drawing tools.
