Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K - Install, Review, and Demo - Capturing Analog Video
After my editing PC was destroyed by the recent flood, I decided it was a great excuse to upgrade some of the equipment in the studio. On the top of the list was by video capture device. I had been using Amazon and eBay cheap capture devices for my analog sources, and they were pretty terrible. This time, I decided to go with something with excellent quality: the Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K. This PCIe card will handle anything from 525-line NTSC SD video to 4K digital. In this video, we will look around it, get it installed, and do a live video capture from VHS to see how it looks.
