Tokugara is one of the more formidable Far South regional players, it's arms industry and political dominance of the surrounding states make it a powerful partner to any would-be ally. Proud of it's martial clan history, the Tokugarans have fielded exceptional forces in most major recent conflicts.
Since the ther mid 4950s, Tokugara has developed an incredibly diverse military technology market, modernising it's forces very quickly and achieving a shocking parity with the likes of the top 5 powers in terms of objectionable might. Whilst the technology is used to improve the quality vs quantity of Tokugara's army, the historical use of the sword, and melee tactics have come straight with the advancement, shaping the Tokugaran army into a formidable fast strike force, closing with the enemy who are not prepared for a swordfight.
3 Seperatist Republics have in the last few decades attained real independence from Nanguo, a populous and poverty stricken monarchy to the north. Bowing to international sanctions, Nanguo is in no position to exert any outward expansion in any industry or territory.
The Empress' daughter travels to Kasu, to meet with Clan Kaikomora's Ambassador, and cement an alliance that will shift the balance in the region.
