Dell Optiplex power button cable failure! A guide on how to stop the annoying error!
When swapping the Dell Optiplex with the 5 pin power switch, you will get the alert power button cable failure which stops you from booting right up. In this video I show you how to bypass it weather you kept the cable or tossed it. It's real easy and applies to most Dells of this vintage. I do recommend using the single pin connectors as it makes it much easier.
