Bringing a universal spec to cloud development environments
“But it works on my machine!” is a big problem that is being solved by projects like Dev Containers.
The Dev Container spec allows you to define how a development environment should run, including all the additional services that it should run (like any databases and extra services). So we made it default in CodeSandbox environments!
Now, it’s time to dive into the background of this huge leap forward in our infrastructure with our team.
