Skimboarding at Spanish Banks
Getting this video up a bit late, but I am starting to learn from some of the YouTubers I admire that is normal, lots of time to edit these short videos. Lots more to come!
In this video I bust out "Old Woody" my first and only flat land skimboard. The beach I was at was Spanish Banks. My timing could have been better, for flat land in Vancouver low tide offers better conditions. But for an old hack like me just the warm up practicing the toss and ride, and the cold start run. I always mean to stretch but most times I forget and can barely walk the next day my legs are so sore!
I like skimboarding for the fun, bit of exercise and a water board sport with little chance of encountering a shark....eeep!
