Stencyl - How to create a simple starfield in Stencyl.
This short video shows you how to create a simple 2d (with a 3d look) starfield, coming towards you.
All it takes is two lines of code to create this starfield, and one behaviour to kill the "stars" after they leave the screen. If you dont kill the actors after they left the screen, the star field will very quickly become sluggish and slow.
The "star" used is a 1x1 picture containing only one pixel. Should be simple enough to make in any graphic tool, from paint to photoshop.
Add a background music and a scroll text, and you have a simple old school intro ;)
