So I discovered this website called Suno where you can make music using AI with lyrics that are either generated from a prompt, your own lyrics, or a mixture. I chose the last option.
I gave the AI a prompt and had it write lyrics for a couple verses 4-5 times. Then I selected the best lines, added my own, re-ordered everything, and modified each line that didn't work or to fit roughly to beats and maintain a similar number of syllables per verse. This one ended up being a bit less than half of my own lyrics, maybe 40% or something, which is a bit less than I wanted, but the AI just came up with good lyrics this time. I reordered and modified them a lot though.
The prompt I gave Suno was: Traveling along the road to see what adventure holds for you. Maybe it's treasure, beautiful sights, love, or something else, you're excited about the journey. Through plains, hills, mountains, to the valleys, seas, and caves, you go. To towns, cities, ruins you visit. The journey goes ever on. You see the colors of the seasons, the chill of the air, the warmth of the sun. You see everything. The wind rushing past you calls to adventure. It whistles and whispers your name.
