Texas State Railroad Campground at the Rusk Depot | Rusk Park Texas
The Texas State Railroad Rusk Depot Campground ( referred to as Rusk Park ) is a nice tranquil spot nestled in the deep east Texas Piney Woods. Not your modern day super high end RV resort. It is an older park, but a great place to stay and enjoy the quiet time. An added bonus.....if you're planning to stay and ride the rails, once the train arrives at the Rusk depot from Palestine, it's just a short 5 minute walk over to your rig. Prices are great for a full hookup park ( 50a, 30a, water, sewage ) About a third of what the high end RV resort is going to cost.....and you're still only going to use the same stuff.
