I started this project the day after Josh Scorcher put out a call for Animators to help with a project he was spearheading. The goal was to see what I could do with a hard deadline of a week. I saw Josh's video on Thursday night, and I finished this on the following Thursday afternoon.
In total, this video took:
about fifteen minutes minutes to storyboard
one day to draw everything (backgrounds, character, furniture, everything)
one day to make the sound (all original, recorded by me)
four days to animate (which I probably could have cut to three, but I procrastinated more than I should have)
three hours rendering and uploading (combined it took about three hours. I basically woke up on Thursday and all I had left to do was render, then get it into a usable mP4 file with Blender [because I've never been able to export decent audio through Adobe Animate and using Blender is just easier to me], and upload my small portfolio to YouTube so Josh can see it)
