1978 Fields of the Poltava region: wheat harvesting

Roman Loza, a schoolboy, gets invaluable experience in agriculture and learns to work with a combine. The last rolls of wheat reflect the successful result of the work of Ukrainian grain growers, who sold more than a million poods of grain to the state this year. But the harvest does not end here - the collective farm leaders are already thinking about the future and are preparing the land for winter crops. The agronomist of the collective farm, Nikolai Ivanovich Kolomiets, carefully selects the seeds of strong Odessa wheat 51 and is confident in the success of future shoots. The video conveys the energy and dedication of the grain growers of Ukraine, who continue to improve their methods in order to provide the population of the state with grain.
