Together, We Are Felton: Honoring Social Work Month
In honor of Social Work Month, we’re highlighting the invaluable work of Kevin Cheah, LCSW, Program Manager for Felton’s Older Adult Full Service Partnership program (FSP) (https://felton.org/social-services/se..., a collaborative program that supports older adults who are unhoused and/or in need of the highest level of intensive case management. Kevin spoke to us about Felton’s early leader, Dr. Katherine “Kitty” Felton, who served and supported the San Francisco community, many of whom lost their homes, during the 1906 earthquake. Inspired by Dr. Felton’s work, FSP is continuing Dr. Felton’s legacy of serving vulnerable populations by providing support and housing opportunities.
