OC Battles #5: Porfirio Vs Xenovus (Off-Canon OC Battle #2)

This year has been a real interesting one. I made a break through with a JoJo Among Us video and an UnderTale video. Really makes me think about what I make on this channel. On a larger scale, COVID's definetely changed my life, in more ways than one, multiple good and bad ways.
Sucks but, oh well. If you've seen the post I've made on my Community tab, you'll know that I have a lot more exciting things coming up, so yeah!

==============Project Info (Rant)==============
This OC Battle practically serves to introduce 2 new (technically remastered) characters, Xenovus and Porfirio. Both these characters belong to me and Mei respectively, as they were old characters that we originally shelved.
The information surrounding them are generally shown through this video, but some details may not be final.
I started this animation as a sort of demonstration, since @meiyamazuki99 made some really good looking backgrounds and I wanted to play around with them. Props to her.
I originally wanted to finish this animation by Halloween, but due to school and just some personal demotivation/stress, I ended up lacking the motivation to this project and just tried to finish it because I already made progress. I ended up finishing this unhappy and unsatisfied, and the animation speaks for itself.
Like I said, I shelved this project all the way through October/November, since the problems I listed before caused me to splurge like a second of animation a day/a week. In the end I kinda just gave up, I had more interesting projects in the queue and I didn't want to leave this to waste. There isn't even music for this fight since I didn't think any music would be fitting, since not only is it short, and lackluster, but it's "spooky" themed.

To avoid spoilers, the info here will be brief and a little vague.
Xenovus (Owned by @SMX.animations )

Xenovus is a character that's been featured once in a video on this channel. Try to find him! Anyways, if you've seen the video you know that he's just a normal human with a pocket knife that acted super edgy and cool because that was what I was into, I guess.
Here, he's a teenager/child that lives by stealing from others for reasons that can't be revealed. Tough circumstances of the real world has left him untrusting, since he relies on a mere butterfly knife to protect him. However, he is learning.
Porfirio (Owned by @meiyamazuki99 )

Porfirio is one of the many characters that Mei drew briefly, and never touched upon. She's made a post about this which you can see for yourself, but basically Porfirios an extremely young character with violent tendencies. He wields scissors and that's about I can say about him.
Obviously, this kind of information is pretty general since they need work.
Get used to their faces, they'll appear more often!
As for the rest of the characters, their showcase is yet to come up.
