How to Align your objects in Adobe Illustrator
This is a 'key' way to align your objects 🙌

For years, I would whip out the trusty rectangle tool when I want to align a bunch of objects evenly. Then I recently discovered that there is a much easier method!
.
All you need to do is select all the objects you wish to align, and then in the alignment panel, select 'key objects'. Then select which object you wish to be key and then add your distribution value!
.
This is particularly useful for when you have angled objects where trying to align them can prove more difficult! Here, you can see I have added a negative value, which is so useful! Give it a try 🙌
