When selecting your colour variants for your project, it's always important to understand what colours can be placed on top to ensure they hit the colour contrast acceptance. To do this, I use the contrast checker on coolors.co, but there are a bunch of different options that help you check how your colours are looking.

As a minimum, ensure colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for small text or 3:1 for large text, even if text is part of an image.
